. Each of the Foundation’s grantmaking programs described below is administered by guidelines for each program area.
Organizations receiving support from the Responsive Grantmaking program are aligned with the Foundation’s vision, mission and values; are family-centered
; represent a community where O’Neill family members are actively involved; and meet the requirements and guidelines for each program area. Support is available for capacity building

and general operations
As part of the Responsive Grantmaking programs, the Foundation awards Rapid Response grants
up to $5,000 each for time-sensitive needs of existing Foundation grantees. These grants are made on a first-come, first-served basis, in an expedited manner. Only organizations that have received a grant from the Foundation within the past five years are eligible to apply for Rapid Response support. Agencies with an active grant are precluded.
Responsive grants are made to organizations providing services in the following areas where O’Neill family members are actively involved in the communities where they live and work.

O’Neill Family Grantmaking Programs
Grants made through the invitation-only O'Neill Family Grantmaking
programs are provided for: Family-Directed Grantmaking and Youth-Directed Grantmaking. Uninvited requests will not be considered.
