Letter of Inquiry

The Letter of Inquiry (LOI) is submitted by an organization with eligibility status as the first step in a grant application. It is a succinct document that provides essential information regarding the proposed capacity building project.

It includes the following:

  • An assessment of need for the project
  • A description of the project
  • The impact the project will have on the organization
  • The amount requested and the total amount of the project

To submit an LOI:

  1. Download Letter of Inquiry form below.
  2. Complete the form (directions are on the form itself)
  3. Attach the completed and labeled document to an email addressed to: Cynthia Drennan, grants manager, at ApplicationsandReports@oneillfdn.org.

Deadlines for LOI submission:

  • April 1, 2011
  • August 1, 2011
  • December 1, 2011

LOI's must be received by 4:00 p.m. EST on the date due.

NOTE: If the submission dates fall on a holiday or weekend, the LOI is due to the Foundation the next business day.
